The Township of Brock offers many fitness classes for you to enjoy!Yoga

The Winter Fitness schedule is here and has a variety of classes to help you work towards your goal of being active and staying fit.

Fitness Class Pass:

Ask our instructors about the prepaid 12 class fitness pass card! Only redeemable at drop in classes, cannot be used for Pre-registered programs. Passes expire December 31, 2020.

Adults – $50.00 (2 free classes)

Are you ready to kick your fitness into high gear? Warrior Fitness Kickboxing and MMA (mixed martial arts) Conditioning will help sculpt your body into a fantastic new you! Each authentic kickboxing workout will leave you feeling great as you kick and punch away your stress and extra pounds. Start burning 800+ calories a workout! No experience necessary. Taught by certified Fitness Kickboxing Canada Instructors.

Zumba exercise classes are “fitness-parties” that blend upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography, for a total-body workout that feels like a celebration.

We will bring focus to finding the connection between our breath, mind and body as we flow through a series of yoga postures that will leave you feeling calm, focused and energized. Classes are for all levels – no yoga experience necessary! Bring a yoga mat and water!

Actively Aging

All Ages

$5.00 drop in fee per participant

Sunderland Memorial Arena: Tuesdays 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Actively Aging is ideal for older adults who are looking for a workout that is a little more challenging but at a moderate intensity. Using light hand weights and resistance bands throughout this workout participants will be focusing on cardio, strength, balance and stretching while enjoying the company of others in a safe and fun environment. 


Restorative Yoga

All Ages

$5.00 drop in fee

Beaverton Town Hall: Tuesdays 10:45 – 11:45 am

Start date: January 7

Restorative yoga typically involves 3-4 poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Poses are held up to 15 minutes each including light twists, forward holds and gentle backbends.


Pound Fitness

$5.00 drop in fee.

Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre: Mondays 6:15-6:45 pm

Sweat, Sculpt & Rock with POUND, the fastest growing group fitness phenomenon inspired by the sweat-dropping, infectious, energizing fun of drumming! POUND is a full body cardio jam session championed by fitness rebels around the world. There are limited sticks available so arrive on time to ensure you get a pair!!


Gentle Fitness

Manilla Hall: Saturdays 8:15-9:15 am

Start date: January 11

Gentle Fit is ideal for older adults and those who are starting an exercise program. The class provides a challenging, effective workout at a gentler pace and includes cardio conditioning, strength/endurance/power training as well as balance, flexibility, and stretching while enjoying good music and the company of friendly participants.

Adult Volleyball

Ages 16+

Thursdays: Session 1 – Brock High School Gymnasium, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. 

Thursdays: Session 2 – Brock High School Gymnasium, 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. 

Registration is open!

Come out and play some fun recreational volleyball. Teams will be made as people arrive for scrimmages. No referees, just honest players. One court will be designated for a more advanced and competitive game, and one court will be designated for recreational game.   



All Ages

Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre: Wednesdays – 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. 

Start date: January 8

Pilates is a form of full body exercise that develops Strength, Control and Concentration. Classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. Benefits of a regular Pilates practice are: Longer Leaner Muscles, Proper Alignment, Core Stability, Injury Reduction, Flexibility, Endurance and stress reduction. All you need is a mat and a good attitude.
