Accessibility
The Township of Brock is committed to ensuring that our community is fully accessible for residents and visitors alike. We do this by following the regulations outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and by removing barriers so individuals can access programs and services in our community.
Brock Accessibility Advisory Committee
The Brock Accessibility Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations to the Township of Brock's Council on matters related to identification and the removal and prevention of barriers for persons with disabilities.
Accessibility Awards
Each year, we recognize an organization, business or community member that has shown a concerted effort to improve accessibility through the Township of Brock Accessibility Awards.

How to Nominate |
To nominate a deserving business, organization or individual for the Township of Brock Accessibility Award, you must complete the nomination form with details of their efforts to improve accessibility and/or accessibility awareness, and how the nominee has gone above and beyond to make accessibility a key factor in the community. The business or organization must be located within the Township of Brock, and the individual must be a Brock resident. |
Adjudication Process |
The Township of Brock Accessibility Advisory Committee will review all nomination forms and select one winner based on the criteria of showing a concerted effort to improve accessibility. Improved accessibility can mean either physical alterations or new programs and features that reduce barriers to permit greater access to services for those with disabilities. |
