Paying Property Taxes
Learn how to pay your property taxes in the Township of Brock. We offer a variety of different payment options, including pre-authorized payments.
Payment Options
Review each payment option and choose the one that is best for you.
To pay your property tax bill through your bank, either in person, online or by telephone, you need to enter your properties’ 19-digit tax roll number.
Your 2024 interim property tax bill shows your Roll No as XXX-XXX-XXXXX-0000 at the top left hand side of your bill. In order to pay your bill, you need to add 1839 in front of your Roll No – so you would enter your roll number as 1839XXXXXXXXXXX0000.

You can pay your property taxes through the mail. Postdated cheques are accepted. Please make the cheque payable to the Township of Brock and send it to: 1 Cameron St. E. P.O. Box 10 |

You can pay your taxes in person by cash, cheque or debit. Stop by the Municipal Offices located at: 1 Cameron St. E. |
Pre-authorized Payment Plans
Never miss a tax payment by setting up a pre-authorized payment plan. Complete the Pre-Authorized Payment Application and submit it along with a void cheque or download the application and bring it with a void cheque to the Municipal Office located at:

There are three types of pre-authorized payment plans:
- Installment plan (pay 4 installments throughout the year)
- Monthly plan (pay 11 installments on the first day of each month from January to November)
- Arrears plan (pay monthly amounts that work for your budget that will also pay down your tax balance. Withdrawals take place the 20th of each month.)
Please indicate which plan you'd like on your application.
Change or Cancel your Pre-authorized Payment Plan
If you need to change the account your payments are being withdrawn from please submit a change request. If you need to cancel your Pre-authorized payment plan please submit a cancellation request at least 14 days prior to your next withdrawal date.
Late Payments
The Township of Brock must receive all tax payments by the installment due date on your tax bill. If you miss an installment date, you will receive a penalty of 1.25% per month. Late penalties will be applied the first of every month until paid. Even if you do not receive a property tax bill or statement, as the property owner, you are responsible for paying property taxes along with any penalties as a result of a late payment. Township staff do not have the authority to waive or alter a penalty charge for any reason.
