Fire Inspection Requests
The Brock Township Fire Department is mandated to respond to complaint and inspection requests relating to fire safety by the Fire Protection and Prevention Act. The Township Fire Prevention Officer enforces violations found under Municipal By-laws and the Ontario Fire Code.

Types of Inspections
Complaint |
A fire safety concern about a building can be filed through the online complaint form. |
Request |
A fire safety inspection request can be made by the owner or occupant of a building. Request inspections will be subject to inspection fees. |
Routine |
Vulnerable occupancies including nursing homes, retirement homes, group homes, and hospitals require routine inspections to comply with the Ontario Fire Code. Owners are required to contact the Fire Department to initiate the routine annual inspection. |
Licensing and Permits |
To obtain a firework permit or license, liquor license, refreshment vehicle license, or campground license, Fire Department approval is required. To begin the licensing process, please contact the Clerks Department. |
