Accessible Walking Trails
At the Township of Brock, we are committed to developing an inclusive community and this includes our accessible walking trails. These trails are accessible to all mobility levels and you can spend time outdoors enjoying nature with friends and family.
Beaverton Walking Trail
The Beaverton walking trail is a 900 ft. trail that begins at the Beaverton fairgrounds located at 176 Main St. The trail links to the Beaverton Harbour. This is a paved trail and is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.
The Beaverton Lions Club contributed to the development of the trail.
Sunderland Walking Trail
The Sunderland Lions walking trail is a 1 km paved trail that runs around the Sunderland fairgrounds located at 20 Park St. People of all ages enjoy this safe and accessible trail.
The Sunderland Lions Club contributed to the development of the trail and received a Durham Region Accessibility Award for their work championing accessibility in our community.
