Township of Brock Declares Significant Weather Event Due to Snow Conditions
Update January 4, 2025
The Significant Weather Event has been reissued today January 4, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the weekend. The Roads Department have been deployed will continue to plow the roads throughout the day. Staff are working diligently to deal with the immense snow load and we ask all residents to be patient while staff deal these conditions.
Please note that as of today January 4, 2025 ALL SIDEWALKS in the Township of Brock are closed to pedestrian traffic until staff are able to clear and remove the snow.
Residents are encouraged to stay indoors and avoid all unnecessary travel. In case of an emergency please do not hesitate to call 911.
In the coming weeks, the Municipality will address the abundance of snow by removing it to other locations.

Update January 3, 2025
The Significant Weather Event issued on January 2, 2025 is still in effect and will continue for the remainder of the day. The Roads Department were deployed early this morning and will continue to plow the roads throughout the day. Staff are working diligently to deal with the immense snow load and we ask all residents to be patient while staff deal these conditions.
At this point our roads are our priority and we will work away at the sidewalks as time allows. We thank you for your understanding and if at all possible we recommend staying home.
January 2 , 2025
Based on the heavy accumulations of snow, the Township wishes to advise residents that roads may be slippery. Residents are asked to stay in if possible and to otherwise drive according to the weather conditions.
Roads, sidewalks and parking lots will be sanded again in the early morning of January 3, 2025.
Thank-you for your patience during the snow clearing operations. Please assist our work crews by refraining from on-street parking to enable plows to go down the street.
This significant weather event designation will continue through the night. The Township will update the situation on January 3, 2025.
