Brock Roads staff are removing snow on municipal roads in Cannington throughout the week of January 6 – 10, 2025, in various locations to avoid congestion. Following which the crews will move to Beaverton to conduct similar works.
The sidewalk blowers and sander machines will continue to clean up and sand areas of concern, in both Beaverton and Cannington. Pedestrians are asked to exercise caution while using sidewalks.
The Trackless Machine Blower, on loan from Uxbridge, will be removing the heavier snow in areas around the Township, including the subdivision behind Lakeland Cres.
Other areas throughout the Township with large snow accumulations will be addressed and dealt with accordingly in a timely fashion as weather permits. Winter maintenance on Roads remains the priority for Township staff and snow clearing will occur when the weather allows.
