The Township of Brock Council Discussed the follow:
- Durham Region presented a report on Climate Change and Health in Durham Region. Assessing the impact of Extreme Heat. North Durham municipalities are forecasted to have a greater increase in heat events and Regional programs like the Heat Warning information System, Durham Greener Homes, Local Housing Corporation's energy efficiency and resilience strategy are offered to support Brock residents.
- A deputation was brought to Council with respect to Brock becoming a Blue Community. Council has directed staff to work with Durham Region on next steps available to become a Blue Community and report back before fall.
- The Beaverton Thorah Eldon Historical Society requested funding assistance for moving the Train Shelter to a permanent location between the Meeting Place and Brick House at the Historical Society. Part of this relocation plan includes restoration and education to highlight the importance of the rail line in Beaverton.
