The Township of Brock is preparing the 2025 budget and wants to hear from residents and property owners about their budget priorities. Brock provides programs and services to the community based on an annual Operating and Capital budget. Each year staff prepare the budget taking into consideration the needs of the community, economic pressures and drivers, growth, the services to residents as well as engineering priorities for infrastructure and asset management.
Long-term sustainability is a key goal for us, and like many municipalities across Canada, we face an ongoing challenge with infrastructure deficits that we must address. Dedicated levies have enabled the Township to undertake numerous significant infrastructure projects. Through careful budget planning, we will be able to continue improving existing roads, bridges, sidewalks, parks, playgrounds, technology, and more, benefiting the Brock community.
