Canada Post Strike November 2024
Township of Brock property tax payments (or other payments besides property tax) must be received on or before the due date to avoid a late payment charge of 1.25% calculated monthly on the first day of each month. Late payment charges will not be waived due to the postal strike. Residents have a number of ways to pay their tax bill including:
- in-person at Township of Brock Municipal Office (1 Cameron Street East, Cannington ON)
- by external drop box located outside the main entrance of the Township of Brock Municipal Office(cheque only – NO CASH);
- at most chartered banks and financial institutions in-person, by telephone banking or online banking (subject to bank charges, if applicable); or
- through a mortgage company (if you pay your property taxes to a mortgage company, the company submits the payment to the Township on your behalf).
For future payments, the Township of Brock offers a pre-authorized payment plan for automated payments. The enrolment form is available online and can be submitted electronically or in-person at The Township of Brock Municipal Office.
