Whitby, Ontario - The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) has released Canada's Guidance on Alcohol and Health. This guidance provides Canadians with the latest evidence-based advice on alcohol to support them in making informed decisions about its use and reduce the risk of alcohol-related harms. Customers can now connect with Durham Region by calling 311 for convenient access to information about Regional services like waste and recycling, water and sewer, and more.
Regional information is available by calling 311 within the geographical borders of Durham Region. If you are outside those borders, you can access information by calling one local number, 905-668-7711, or toll-free at 1-800-372-1102.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region has implemented Phase 2 in bringing Regional services to smart home devices—thanks to the myDurham 311 Smart Home Device Voice Service. The latest phase is designed to help customers access information and frequently asked questions about the 2022 municipal elections through smart home devices.
When: Launches October 12, 2022.
