This meeting will be held virtually. A copy of the agenda can be accessed through the Council Calendar. Items for discussion will be considered in a Closed Session.

Upcoming Launch of the Next Edition of the Building Code

The Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing issued Ontario CodeNews e-bulletin #354, dated April 10, 2024, to announce the release of the 2024 Edition of Ontario's Building Code.
The 2024 Ontario Building Code will come into effect on January 1, 2025, with a three-month transition period that extends until March 31, 2025, for applications for which the working drawings were substantially complete before January 1, 2025.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham has teamed up with the area municipalities to offer free compost to residents at special events taking place across the region.
When and where:
Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to noon

Township of Brock Helps Residents Plant Trees for Less with the Leaf Backyard Tree Planting Program

Brock residents interested in greening their properties and combating climate change can benefit from a partnership between the Township of Brock and the Regional Municipality of Durham, which offers subsidized native trees and shrubs through LEAF (Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests).
