Notice of Intention – Un-opened road allowance, Bay Street Extension

TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to sections 34 and 270 of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Brock intends to enact a by-law to stop up, close, and convey a portion of an opened and unopened road allowance generally located west of Bay Street.

The subject property is located west of an un-opened road allowance, which is known as Bay Street. The subject land is legally described as the Bay Street Extension and Portions of vacant land, Bay Street, Beaverton known as Part of the Bay Street Extension and Portions of vacant land, Bay Street, East of York Street, Plan 39, Part north ½ Lot 14, Concession 5, Brock, as in BN3631, Except Part 1, 40R3978, Except Part 1, 40R3725, Brock. The subject land is illustrated on the key map attached.

 AND TAKE NOTICE that Council, at a meeting to be held on the 23rd day of September, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Administration Building Council Chambers, 1 Cameron Street East, Cannington, hear, in person, or by counsel, solicitor or agent, any person who claim their lands will be adversely affected by the proposed by-law.

ANY PERSON who wishes to make written or verbal representations must contact the Clerk’s department by no later than Noon on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.
