Accessibility

Approximately 15% of people in Ontario have a disability. As the population ages, that number is estimated to increase to 20%. People with disabilities may find it hard to access local services, programs, enter public buildings or use public transit. All levels of government are working to change this, including municipal governments.

Township of Brock Accessibility LogoThe Township of Brock is committed to being fully accessible to persons with disabilities, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), by 2025. The Brock Accessibility Advisory Committee (B.A.A.C.) will provide advice and recommendations to the Council of the Township of Brock on matters related to the identification, removal and prevention of barriers for persons with disabilities.
