The Township of Brock introduces Two new EV Charging Stations in Beaverton

The Township of Brock and Council are thrilled to announce the addition of 2 advanced EV chargers. This latest Green Climate Initiative is a result of a federal government grant application in partnership with Durham Region and supplied by HWiSEL EV. These chargers are compatible with any EV currently available with power from the grid, solar, battery or all sources including Tesla (requires Tesla provided J1172 adapter). Beaver River Bridge update on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation

In November 2023, due to concerns with the condition of the bridge, ministry engineers recommended the bridge be closed to traffic while a thorough structural assessment was carried out.
The structural assessment and Bridge Load Testing have now been completed and unfortunately, the results do not support a full reopening of the bridge. Cannington and Sunderland public access water has been shut off for the 2024 winter months. Public access in Beaverton will remain in service.

Brock Fire Department partners with the Marc Group again for 2024

The Brock Township Fire Department has partnered with The Marc Group again for 2024.
The Marc Group works in partnership with local fire departments annually by providing 2500 reusable tote bags for distribution. Local businesses have the opportunity to participate in the program by advertising on the side of the bag. The other side is covered with a fire safety message from the fire department.
