Notice of Correction Please note that the printed copy of the Summer 2024 newsletter and the July e-newsletter has incorrect information regarding the Rural Road Rehabilitation Plan. The correct information is as follows: Phase 2 of the Rural Road Rehabilitation Plan is set to begin the week of July 8th. Road construction will commence this year on Concession Road 11 and then proceed to Concession Road 14 and Simcoe Street/Townline.
Sunderland Memorial Arena Project Update

At a Special Council meeting on Friday June 28, 2024 Council awarded the Sunderland Arena Project Manager Contract to CBRE by passing the following motion
“Be It Resolved That Report 2024-PRF-017, Sunderland Arena Timelines and Project Manager Tender, be received;

That staff be authorized to proceed with the issuance of the contract for the outlined work with CBRE in the amount of $306,966.17, excluding HST, upon receipt of all required articles outlined in the tender document regarding...

Traffic Calming Zone - Beaverton

Starting tomorrow morning, June 27th, the Township Works staff will be signing Main Street East as a Traffic Calming Zone with a speed limit change to 40 km/h between Highway 12 and Mara Road. This change is for improved safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists alike. Please drive carefully and adjust your speed accordingly.
