2024 Bass Fishing Season is Now Open!

The Township of Brock is the Smallmouth Bass Fishing Capital of Canada and we invite you to come and enjoy the 2024 Bass Fishing on beautiful Lake Simcoe.
The Beaverton Harbour is located at 24 Harbour Park Crescent has a Boat Launch, Beach, Playground and Splash Pad for a full day of family fun.
Residents of Brock can launch their boats at no cost, while non-residents must pay a minimal fee for launching.

At a Special Council meeting on Friday June 28, 2024 Council awarded the Sunderland Arena Project Manager Contract to CBRE by passing the following motion
“Be It Resolved That Report 2024-PRF-017, Sunderland Arena Timelines and Project Manager Tender, be received;

The Township of Brock is pleased to announce the appointment of Dylan Quigley as the Director of Public Works effective July 8, 2024.
Dylan has been employed by the Town of Ajax for 15 years and is currently the Supervisor of Fleet and Inventory Services. He has extensive experience in asset management, capital budgeting and forecasting, preventative maintenance, and procurement. Prior to becoming a supervisor, Dylan was a foreperson as well as a heavy and light equipment operator.

Traffic Calming Zone - Beaverton

Starting tomorrow morning, June 27th, the Township Works staff will be signing Main Street East as a Traffic Calming Zone with a speed limit change to 40 km/h between Highway 12 and Mara Road. This change is for improved safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists alike. Please drive carefully and adjust your speed accordingly.
