- The contract to replace the Cannington lawn Bowling roof has been received and rewarded to Chouinard Bros Roofing. Construction timeline has yet to be determined.
- The Sunderland Arena User Groups submitted their feedback which will be included in the Descope Committee discussions.
Council Meeting Highlights
- Council approved an Art Installation, featuring paintings by local artists of fish, native to Lake Simcoe at the Beaverton Harbour.

- Durham Region Waste Management presented the Blue Box Program Update to Council
- The Township of Brock is partnering with the Lake Simcoe Regional Conservation Authority (LSRCA) on a Low Impact Development (LID) project at the Beaverton Fire Hall.

Adopted Report 2024-DS-005 – Draft Plan of Subdivision (s-B-2022-01) and Zoning By-law Amendment (05-2022-RA) Applications, Rebanks Developments Inc., 84 Meclennas Beach Rd. Part of Lot 17, Concession 4 (Thorah), Township of Brock
- Cannington Lioness Lions Club Duck Race was approved by Council and the event is happening on May 26, 2024

- Council received a presentation regarding the Downtown Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Review and Update
- The current CIP is under review. Phase 2 of the project (early April) will including drafting a downtown CIP and consultation and engagement with the public and other stakeholders. Phase 3 of the project (May) will be the finalization of the new CIP, a statutory public meeting and Council adoption of the final plan.
